The Medical Center of Southeast Texas Partners with CI Oncology, LLC
Port Arthur, Texas – January 8, 2010. The Medical Center of Southeast Texas is excited to announce the affiliation with CI Oncology, LLC. which is comprised of approximately fifty physicians of different specialties.
The affiliation enabled the approval for The Medical Center to begin construction of a new cancer center which will be built at the old federal building located at Highway 69 and Jimmy Johnson Boulevard.
The cancer center will consist of state-of-the-art equipment that will allow patients to stay close to home for their therapy, without traveling to Houston or Galveston. “This joint venture will provide high quality care for the cancer patients in our community,” said Mike Landry, CEO of The Medical Center.
